Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to take an order and get it to you, and nothing beyond that.

• —Your name, email address and phone number — so we can confirm an order and reach you if something's wrong with it.
• —A delivery address, if you order delivery — stored against your account only if you save it there.
• —An order history — what you ordered, when, and how much it came to, for order tracking and your account's past-orders page.
• —A payment reference from Stripe — the confirmation that payment succeeded. We do not collect or store your full card number, expiry date or CVV; that goes straight to Stripe.

To take your order, take payment for it, get it to you, and let you know if anything changes.

To run an account, if you choose to create one, so you don't retype your details every visit and can see your order history.

To run the kitchen and counter — staff logins are separate accounts, used only to manage orders, the menu and shift access, and are logged for accountability.

If you're logged in, we set a single httpOnly session cookie so the site remembers you between pages. It can't be read by scripts on the page and exists only to keep you signed in.

Your cart is kept in your browser's local storage, not on our servers, so it survives a refresh but never leaves your device until you check out.

We don't run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Stripe processes payments on our behalf and receives what it needs to do that — it does not receive your order contents.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any reason.

We may disclose information if the law requires it — a court order, for instance — but that's the only circumstance beyond the above.

Order records are kept for our own accounting and food-safety traceability. Account details are kept for as long as the account is open.

Ask us to close your account and delete your data, and we will, other than what we're required to retain for tax or legal reasons.

You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also close your account yourself from the account page at any time.

To make any of these requests, write to the address at the bottom of this page and we'll deal with it directly — no form, no call centre.

This site and its accounts are for adults placing food orders. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

If how we handle your data changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and the date at the top of it.
